What we look for
-
Performers must be at least 18 years old.

Have open weekend availability with 1-2 weeks notice.

Be located in Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Maria, or Lompoc, and willing to travel to Santa Barbara or Santa Ynez to pick up/drop off supplies.

A background in child care or acting preferred.

Loves working with children

Animated and High energy

Skilled in improvisation

Second language is a plus but not mandatory

Have no visible tattoos (or all tattoos must be able to be covered by costumes)

Be a Non smoker

Must have your own reliable car
About the Job

Great Pay! Paid by the performance time. Pay starts at $60 for an hour party, $90 for 1.5 hours, and $120 for 2 hours.

Bonus pay - tips and travel rate. For events held outside of the Santa Ynez Valley travel rate added.

This position is part time work predominantly on weekends.

Paid on job training! All positions do require training, we provide all costumes and wigs.

Travel to Santa Barbara or Los Olivos to pick up/drop off supplies

Events are improvised based on a script and training

Majority of events are solo/one character

Leading variety of other activity entertainment (face painting, crafts, games, etc)
We are also always looking for Face painters, balloon twisters, Magicians, and other entertainers.
